Marketing Pathfinding helps clients develop and implement innovative and cost-effective marketing communications programs, offers strategic planning and management consulting.

We begin by interviewing key people in an organization. We review previous marketing, research, sales goals and business plans. Then we stop. And think.

We think about our clients' customers, and other relevant constituencies. We think about the history of our clients' organization, and about its future. We look at the problems clients see, and sometimes at problems we think a client has overlooked. We talk with our clients about what people want and need now, and what they'll want and need in two years, in five years, even longer. We talk about our clients' goals and aspirations, ambitions and dreams. And then we write a plan that takes all of this into account, using the methodology shown above.

The plan articulates current and future situations as we see them. It proposes goals, lays out an overall strategy, a set of tactics, metrics for success, a budget, a timetable. If the plan calls for advertising, media planning and placement, website design, e-commerce initiatives, sales promotion or graphic design, we execute it. If it calls for public relations, sports, event or cultural marketing we may recommend outsourcing and supervision as needed. If there is a need for our management consulting services we develop a separate plan for that.

In the end the client has a fresh look at their problems and opportunities, and a fresh start at dealing with them in an innovative and cost-effective manner.
