When the MTA purchased Conrail's New York
commuter lines it had six months to launch a new railroad. They
needed it designed for them. That meant everything: logo, corporate
identity, station signs, uniforms, train exteriors, even the colors
for the seats.
Six months later the uniforms were finished, the signs were up,
the trains were painted, and the new logo was everywhere. Still
is.
