The MTA wanted to launch a new rail link
between midtown Manhattan and JFK Airport. They needed it named,
positioned, promoted, launched. In one month. They came to Charlie with very little
money and with tongue firmly planted in cheek, "The Train
to The Plain" was born.
Within a month it was part of the lexicon of New York. Over
the next six years, the train to the plane attracted over
5 million riders.
