strategic management consulting and development of marketing communications
programs. Our marketing work over the last decade has encompassed
development of complete branding programs and advertising campaigns
for over 75 clients in financial services, e-commerce, retail, media,
telecommunications, entertainment, social engineering, healthcare
and education. Our management consulting work runs the gamut from
short-term trouble-shooting and M&A-related due-diligence to
discovery and development of new or underexploited revenue streams,
turn-arounds, roll-ups, venture capital for start-ups, the launch
of new companies, and on several occasions, selection and partnering
with multi-national advertising agencies and world class consulting
firms.
We work in a trusted advisor capacity with many clients and have
been retained to provide private advice and counsel to CEO's, critique
business plans, assess strategic aspirations, challenge deeply embedded
assumptions, identify overlooked opportunities and develop multi-faceted
programs designed to recalibrate an organization's goals and raise
its definition of success. In the process, we have developed several
proprietary research, analytic, change management and customer-learning
methodologies which have enabled Marketing Pathfinding clients to
gain revealing pivotal customer insights, to help clients ensure
that the products and services being offered are genuinely needed
and will be well-received.
When Marketing Pathfinding works at the preliminary strategic planning
stage, we bring to bear over three decades of experience, working
with hundreds of organizations. We currently provide advice and
counsel on strategic restructuring issues for several CEO's in the
U.S. and U.K. We we have worked continuously with GE Capital, one
of the world's largest and most dynamic financial services companies,
since 1990, consulting on mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, turn-arounds,
business development and cross-selling. We are currently helping
one corporation downsize and re-purpose their entire marketing department,
improve the way they work with their ad agencies and design firms
and grapple with difficult branding issues. At one point, Marketing
Pathfinding's CEO acted as a temporary director of marketing for
this company while continuing to run Marketing Pathfinding.
We provide change management coaching for a U.K. based CEO and his
senior executives, and act as a catalyst and interlocator between
the company and three consulting companies (all recommended by Marketing
Pathfinding).
